How do I check my students' assignment submissions? - Teacher

How do I check who has submitted?

You can monitor your students' baseline and final assignment submissions on the Hub. Login to the Hub. From the 'Placements' page, click onto the 'Assignments' tab.

As students submit their work on the Hub or their submission is confirmed on our internal system, a green tick will show next to their name:

  • When a student uploads work in the assignments area on the Hub, this will update automatically on your overview.
  • When a student submits via our schools@thebrilliantclub.org email, there will be a short delay whilst we update our internal system.
  • If a student has submitted via any other means such as sending work via the chat on the Hub or teachers have emailed work on to the tutor, your overview will only update once The Brilliant Club is notified of this.

Can I access students' final assignments?

You can download students' final assignments from the 'Assignments' tab. This feature will only be available if the student has submitted in the 'Final Assignment' area of the Hub (and not sent to schools@thebrilliantclub.org or sent via the chat, for example.)

To download the work, click the hyperlink. If a student has submitted multiple files, it will appear as a number:

When will I see students' marks?

Please note that marks for both assignments will only appear once our national moderation process is complete after the final assignments have been marked and before Tutorial 7. We would ask that you do not share students' marks with them until their PhD tutor has shared their full feedback on the Hub or in Tutorial 7.
